We are looking for a couple to manage a house in the south of Spain for a period of 6 months, where retreats, discipleship training and connect weekends are organised. The house also offers a place where pastors, missionary workers and others who work in the Kingdom can go to relax, for debriefing or just to catch their breath.

Job description
In the south of Spain – in the triangle of Jaén, Granada, Córdoba – lies a house in a beautiful, quiet place where missionaries pastors and others can go for retreat, debriefing or just to catch their breath. A place of healing and recovery for people who need a period of rest for whatever reason. There is room for singles, couples and families. In total, approximately 25 people can stay in the house at the same time. The house is also used for discipleship training, retreats and connect weekends for groups of churches or organizations..

Managing couple
Preference is given to a couple; people who follow Jesus with all their heart, have a great sense of responsibility, value hospitality highly and want to set aside 6 months of their lives to serve others. It is also important that you are an active member of a church. You are willing to roll up your sleeves and coordinate the ins and outs of the house. It is important to be socially skilled and to connect with the Spaniards from the village.

Period
We are looking for couples who are available for 6 months, from October to April (winter period) or from April to October (summer period). Longer terms are also negotiable.

Profile description
This is a support function. Being able to speak English is important, Spanish is a bonus, but the willingness to learn something of the Spanish language is required. You are at least 18 years old and available for a period of preferably 6 months. We can use multiple people for this function for the periods mentioned. You can fly to Malaga, but a car is a must, it is recommended to travel with your own transport.

Living conditions
You also live in the house yourself, prepare the meals or ensure that cooking is done. You eat with the guests, when there are no guests then the meals are at your own expense. Other costs are travel expenses, personal expenses and your own travel and health insurance. You need your own income for the period in question, these costs are not high, but are for your own account where subsistence is concerned.

All couples are recruited via CAMA Zending Netherlands and must conform to the conditions of this mission organization, located in the Netherlands, part of the worldwide Christian & Missionary Alliance.
